The Beaches Resort is under the Sandals family and is one of the world's best resorts. Beaches Jamaica has 3 locations in Jamaica, Beaches Boscobel, Beaches Negril, and Beaches Sandy Bay. All three are to be admired as some of the worlds most fun and beautiful beach resorts. Beaches Boscobel is looking extremely nice now that it has gone through an $18-million renovation in 2004 and another $4-million renovation in 2006.

The Guest rooms at Beaches may not be as nice as the Sandals Resorts are because their furniture in the rooms are designed to be indestructible not flashy. The rooms are also rather large and spacious, however, giving children room to do what children like to do.

Be careful...your children may not want to leave or they may beg to come back.

Why Beaches?

Unlike Sandals, the Beaches in Jamaica caters to families with children. Because Beaches is a proud sponsor of Sesame Street you will find many activities with the cast from Sesame Street. Beaches Jamaica Resorts are probably the only Caribbean resorts offering this kind of adventure for your children. Some great interaction with the cast of Sesame Street include a character breakfast, themed birthday parties (this requires an additional charge), and even character parades. There are many more activities with the Sesame Street cast, and I am sure there are others added often.

The Beaches package includes all the great amenities that Sandals Resorts in Jamaica offer including additional activities for children such as the Caribbean Adventure with Sesame Street. Older children and teens may enjoy visiting the Xbox 360 Game Garage where they can play unlimited video games to their hearts content.

Beaches Jamaica Travel Tip:

If you are staying at Beaches Boscobel and this all seems too childish for you drop hop over to Sandals Dunn's River and play a round of golf. It is all included.
